DMTC was delighted to recently head to Wangaratta to help one of our long-standing industry partners, Bruck Textiles, celebrate their 80th anniversary of Australian manufacturing.
Speakers at the event acknowledged the world-class quality of fabrics that Bruck produces, and the spirit of collaboration that the company has embraced.
For five decades Bruck has built its reputation in unique, high-performance fabrics. DMTC’s work with Bruck and other partners has centered on next generation combat uniform and taking innovations in protective fabric materials from concepts through to manufactured solutions. The company can rightly claim to be one of a growing cohort of capable, scalable, connected and secure Australian industry suppliers with a tangible contribution to make to Australia’s national security.
As Group CEO Sandip Ranjan reflected, Bruck owes a great deal of its success to innovation, hard work and (more than) a fair bit of determination.
Defence’s Director-General of Integrated Soldier Systems, Brigadier Pat Murray, paid the company the ultimate compliment when he reinforced the simple truth that “the work you do matters”.
